Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” that explains the expected costs of your healthcare services. This applies to patients who do not have certain types of healthcare coverage or are not using their coverage for specific services.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time, including when scheduling healthcare services or upon inquiry. The estimate will include the total expected cost of services, including related expenses such as medical tests, prescription medications, equipment, and hospital fees.
